Summary:
Do you think one day smoking will cause for you (I mean the smoker) cancer?
Absolutely yes, there are a millions of companies making cigarettes out of by tobacco and a lot of chemical stuff in many countries; such as Korea, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi, America and Italy, and all of them think about money and business. It is very hard to separate between the business and company for making a cigarette because there are a lot of diseases that we may face from smoking, such as lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema, and may complication of pregnancy. Nowadays, smoking is known everywhere and the big problem is from those companies who created and make the cigarette; they use chemical additives to make it hard for smokers to quit smoking. There are a lot of people who cannot stop smoking because of those chemicals. Now, the question is, where is the government about this case, and why they do not stop them? In short, I hope for everyone to stop smoking because it will kill you one day. Smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the country. There are many people who smoke without thinking of the consequences. A lot of people think that smoking is going to affect someone else; this can be a deadly assumption. I have many reasons to support this opinion. First, it has been proven that smoking causes cancer. This is not an opinion but a fact. For example, the bad effects of smoking are so severe and widespread that companies that make tobacco products are required to put on the package that their product kills people. Secondly, everyone feels the bad effects of smoking. We have all seen smokers when they have to run. They cannot breathe right and have a hard time catching their breath, and this is not some smokers, but all smokers. Finally, smoking not only hurts the people who smoke, but it hurts the people around them. This is becoming something that scientist have started to prove. Second hand smoke has been shown to be bad for the people who are around the smoker, so smoking not only hurts the smokers but others also. For these reasons I think that people need to take the time to educate themselves about the bad effects of smoking.

Reaction:
A year passes years and days pass days; things show and come up. Sometimes these discoveries become a great achievement which affects our daily life and also our activities, although in a bad way, like drugs; there are many various for it. Sometimes the realm around us makes us act in different way. In other words the realm around us changes us for the good or for the bad. For example, most of the adolescents or as we can say the teenagers were effected by their friends around them in high school, especially to be cool. People must have insight on what is a good for them and what is bad. Smoking is a kind of drug, which causes series fatal diseases; it might not show in the smoker’s apparent look, but it damages a lot, for example, Lung cancer, tong cancer, and blood stones in the artery. Smoking causes cancer! Now I’m confused. When I read this article, I was hocked because I did not imagine that the cigarette could affect us in those ways. I have a question for every smoker in the whole world. Do you know about the diseases you might face by smoking?    On the other hand, how do the companies make and sell this product. I hope the government watches them and warred them because they take our lives by making us addicted to smoking the cigarette. By the way, I will try to talk and write about this case to make the smoker aware for those diseases and how to quit smoking. In sum, we have to keep our children away from the cigarette. We should start making conscious instruction and awareness campaigns for smokers to make this quit smoking these poison.

Summary:
According to the article, in the past, smoking cigarettes was an easy thing to practs everywhere. Today people have  become more careful about their health. They try their best to ban the smoking from the public places to avoid the bad effects of smoking. Smoking the cigarette as daily routine made the people need to have tobacco as water or food to feel normal. However, the ammine system counts the nicotine and cyanide as the germs, which attend to the body. To explain more, in the early times that the smoker tried to smoke, he felt sick and sometimes he threw up. That because the immune system fights these poison things. The person who smokes will feel sometimes a painful and burning in their throat and lungs. On the other hand, some people will get sick and threw up from the few first times of using tobacco. First of all, there are many signs on the long term, and in the short term it affects the smoker health in a bad way. For example, a person who smokes will get a fatal hart disease, strokes, emphysema, or many types of cancer including lung, throat, stomach, and bladder cancer. This is inside the person’s body, which is not going to be visible for the other people, but there is some sign that will be shown to the public, for example, bad skin, bad breath, get cold, flu, asthma, bad smelling on the clothes and on the hair. At the end Larissa shows that smoking tobacco leads most of the people to quit their favorite sport. Larissa shows at the end, what you have to do if you want to quit smoking.

Reaction:
After I read this article, I wanted to  talk about the harmful effects of smoking. There are many teenagers who start smoking because they think it is cool. This is not true, unless you think that yellow teeth, a hacking cough and lung cancer are cool. First, smoking causes teeth to become yellow. For example, smoking is so bad for your teeth that they make special toothpaste just for people who smoke. Even this is not enough to prevent the yellowing of smoker’s teeth. Secondly, people who smoke end up getting a really bad cough. I know that all of you have heard smokers who are always coughing. This is not cool at all. Finally, smoking causes cancer. While some people may think that smoking is cool, it is hard to look cool when your hair is gone because of cancer and you have to use a breathing tube and oxygen tank. For these reasons there is nothing cool about smoking. I will try my best to help the teenager to quit smoking.

Summary:
According to the article, which was dictions about smoking and how people start to take it’s like it something easy to see around them. However, the author mentions here about smoking in the old days; the smoking habit starts because of the realm around the people; people and the government warn’t taking it seriesly to avoid this problem; it was allowed to smoke everywhere, in the hospital and even in the doctor’s office. So, that is why people start smoking, the realm around them helps the people, and helps them to open for them to practice smoking. For example, your family is smoking so you grow up smoking. As a result of smoking, you will have some diseases, therefore, the author mentions asthma in his article; also, there are two kinds of asthma that you might got because the smoke. First of all, asthma flare-up, which has many sight for the smoker, person like, wheez, and coughing. This kind of Asthma is hard to be controlled even with the medicine. Second kind is, asthma trigger, which happened for the people who are non-smokers. This kind of asthma happens to these kinds of people because the realm around them is full of smoke and that leads them to breathe it, which will cause them to have asthma trigger. However, the lastes studies show that 90% of smokers start at age 21. Smoking has many effects on smoking people and non-smoking people. It has many effects on our health in a negative way, and as a result, you will have some sighs like, swollen, narrow and filled with sticky mucus and that might make you have asthma flare-up. This is not just for the smoker’s people; it also included people who are non-smoking. People who got asthma must be careful when they walk through places, which have many people smokesing, because the percent of getting asthma trigger is high for this kind of people. If you got it, that means that you will have double your whole medicine to avoid this big problem that you got, so that means you will have to visit your doctor many times.

Reaction:
After I read this article, I get out with some points that I didn’t take care about. First of all, I know new information that there are two kinds of asthma, which are  called asthma flare-up, and asthma trigger. Second thing that I found out that there are some signs of it, like swollen, narrow and filled with sticky mucus. Even if I don't smoke I’m still in danger, because I breathe the smoke whenever I walk through the outside of faner. Third, it will effect my health in a negative way, and that means that I will not be in the safe side. All this information will lead me to raise my voice more about smoking must be bannedfrom campus. I have to make and inform the realm around me that I’m a person and I have the justice to have healthy air to breathe.

  Summary:
According to the article I understand that Australia is facing a big problem, which is that most of the children in Australia who are under age practice smoking cigarettes. They found many studies that support this idea. The first evidence, which was results from a report that the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) made is they found that there has been an increase every year of the children who smoke in Australia. Second evidence, both Australian secondary schools made a survey on alcohol and drugs as well as experts. All of them agree that this phenomenon, which is children underage starting smoking is a big problem for the community in Australia. However, the children also start smoking and using tobacco along with cigarettes, because of the bad situation that Australia went throuah in the past years after the war. Cigarettes were so cheap to be sold, along with the stress that they got. Beside that, kids are more affected by the new communication media that they reach; they do whatever it shows on the TV without thinking about the results. Also they follow their friends as it’s a cool thing to do. In conclusion, Thire are many ways that allow for the teenager to go and smoke. But on the other hand, the government is trying to stop selling this product of drugs, consequently according to the article smoking kills 15,000 Australians each year.

Reaction:
In this article the author mentions a problem, which has become a global problem that we have forgotten about or in other words we don’t care about it. The relationship between the teenager and the smoking is increasing every year. When I read this article I was shocked along with feelings of anger that because most of the teenagers or I can say the children are in danger, especially in Australia, as result of smoking. The author discussed this problem in this article. Actually, I agree with Olver about what he said, “ clearly, there’s enough promotion still to attract young people, if you made a movie about Winston Churchill you’d expect him to have a cigar but why does Sigourney Weaver smoke in Avatar? There’s still product placement in movies.” I guess that is what we are going through these days. Our kids these days are a good example of that. They copy everything from the movies and say that is a cool thing to do. They do things to be cool without knowing anything about the trouble that they are in. I imagine the reasons after that is they don’t have enough knowledge about it. If our children are in a hazardous situation, the problem is from all of us. We didn’t give our children the full information about the things that they have to avoid. I anticipate that the first piece of the puzzle starts with the government. The government is allowing smoking in Australia; even people who are under the age can buy cigarettes. The second piece of the puzzle is from the school and the parents. They have to represent the effects of smoking to children in simple ways to let them comprehend about the bad effects of smoking. If we just glance at the numbers of victims each year we will understand that smoking is a real global problem that the world is facing now. Therefore, we have to stop for a while and think about the results after 10 years; our children are in danger, we have to do something to depict for the teenager the image of how bad it is so as to be more clear for them. Australia trying to find a soulotion about this and they try it, which is putting cigarettes in verey simple packs. So, the atracte will be less insteade of the colores. This knowledge will enlighten me and encourage me to give my hand to the other teenager. As a consequence it will keep me going to reach my goal, which is to help the teenager.
